Let me just start off saying Forrester is something else..lol! I thought I wasn't going to like Olivia from her previous appearances in Brick and Pike stories but, she definitely change my views on her. Forrester push her and put her in a situation where he wanted to see the girl he fell in love with when he was younger and the plan almost backfired on him. Olivia found her inner she devil and showed Forrester just what she was made of I bet now he would double think his plans before he put them into action. I love Forrester and Olivia story you would never know how strong their love for each other was by their actions but with some soul searching I'm sure that has now change. With love flowing and happiness in the air its still secrets floating around this family that ties them to the clan and you will never guess how Blaze is tied to all of this. Christine has definitely got my attention and if I ciuld lock her away so she could release her bext book tomorrow I would..lol! But I will be patient of course.
This wasn't what I was expecting. Yes Daddy Forrester is fine and the sex scenes were HOT, hence the 3 stars, but the book didn't draw me in like Ms. Gray's other work has. I felt it was also unfinished, like what actually happened that the sister's husband was suddenly on a warpath and they had to leave America for their homeland? Why didn't Olivia's father show up to the festivities and at least try to rekindle a relationship with his daughter? I did love revisiting Pike, Brick and their wives.
I am a big fan of Christine Gray books and have love them all. I read the two previous books (Pursued a Billionaire's Obsession and Sweet Obsessions) in this series about each sons (Pike and Brick) finding love and meeting with their wives (Laykta and Cashmere), so for me this was a continued journey with this family. Getting to know their parents and how Olivia and Forrester began their relationship was great and another winner for this author. I have also read some of Christine's other series Relentless 1 & 2 and I am looking forward to reading 3 & 4 in this series and standalone The Billionaire Mob Wife. I will keep reading as long she is writing. Thanks for the enjoyable reading hours and books.
Olivia and Forrester have been having trouble in their marriage for years. Forrester has finally gotten to the point that a critical decision has to be made about their marriage. Forrester does things to force the issue for Olivia to understand that she is the cause of severe anguish, not just to the family but to everyone around her. It was not until Livy went home to Ireland, a place she vowed never to return to, that she understood the the depths of her shallow bitchiness. We see Olivia, for the first time in her marriage fighting to save her marriage. Forrester happily sees the woman he fell in love with return and is just as eager to start all over again.
This was an easy read love story featuring an older couple, for a change. We see Olivia and Forrester struggle through the ups and downs just like a younger couple. The story of a mature couple can
be just as interesting and enjoyably
This book was is just one more of Mrs. Grays hot stories. I love how she continues to give hot and sexy while also giving a great story to go with it. I will admit at first I was all set to hate Olivia but she found a way to make you see a better side to her until you start cheering her on. I was also very happy to get a little time with some old characters from previous books Pike, Brick and their wives, hoping going forward we will see more of them as well. So if you have not read any of her other books because you didn't know any better well now you know, go grab them all and sit back and enjoy because there's never a dull moment in her world.
It was a good read. Reading about the parents was interesting, I will go back and read about their sons.
This was such an unexpected twist but this sexy, grown up story was sweet as hell. Loved every minute of it. Forester and Olivia just crack me up but I'm glad they regained their fire and are now truly the couple they were always meant to be.
